Finding a good backpack for the daily commute can be hard if you live somewhere weather permitting. Whilst many come with waterproof covers and other weather-ready features, what else is protecting your precious valuables? The Blackpack is an interesting concept by William Root that pulls inspiration from the turtle.
The geometric design is built within the fundamental parameters of an everyday backpack, however the material has been replaced with a hard plastic to protect your belongings in the case of an accident or bump.
Root has also designed the pack with an interior light that flicks on when the case is opened and an exterior light that can be used as an indicator, increasing the safety of the rider.
