Every time someone finishes a bottle of Coke, there aren’t many things they can do with the empty bottle as they end up on the bottom of landfill, floating in a river or squashed on a busy road somewhere. What if that bottle had another life?

That’s the question Coca Cola’s Global Sustainability program asked of themselves and the resulting answer is pretty cool. By creating a series of new lids for the plastic bottles they give what was previously trash another more useful purpose.

A water gun, spray bottle, pencil sharpener, soap dispenser, musical instrument and a sauce bottle are some of the simple but effective lids that will be given out as a part of campaign. Vietnam will be the first country to receive the lids, followed by Thailand and Indonesia.
