iStock by Getty Images commissioned KRC Research to conduct a survey of 404 creatives scattered across the United States and the United Kingdom. The aim of the study was to understand exactly what it means to be a creative professional in today’s ‘always-on digital world.’
The results of the survey were released during New York City’s Advertising Week 2013 in the form of an infographic.
The study indicates that creativity is under threat. 60% of those questioned had great ideas in the last year but lacked the time and support to see the designs through to completion.
However it is not all doom and gloom. 71% believe that new tools and technologies have enabled for more creativity at work.
