Book Exchange Benches

Rulibank have ‘intervened’ with the public benches across the city of Amsterdam. Until the end of September benches in nine public locations will be supplied with reading material.

The project is produced by Pivot Creative and aims to ‘create sharing spaces and trigger connections among people.’ Benches at the selected locations will be fitted with red metal clips that are large enough to hold and support a book or newspaper.

Partners of the project such as local newspaper Het Parool and GUP Magazine will be contributing reading material each and every day for the duration of the project.  People are welcome to read the material, take it home, bring it back or exchange with other material.
