Smirnoff has collaborated with artist and producer DJ Fresh, brainwave technology expert Julian  Castet and charity Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation to create Mindtunes, the debut project in a series that aim to create awareness of how ‘innovation and inventiveness can help people realise their creative potential’.

Three physically disabled music enthusiasts Mark, Jo and Andy joined the team to use the power of their minds to create a music track. Each were assigned a specific task, that when put together would create a unique song. DJ Fresh was then given the job of producing the track.

An electroencephalography device was used to measure the electrical activity of the brain and convert brainwaves and emotions into sounds and beats.

Mindtunes is available for purchasing on iTunes with all proceeds going to the Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation.
