Light up Gloves for Cyclists

Light up Gloves for Cyclists
Courtney van der Weyden

Early Winter Night Biking Gloves serve two purposes for urban cyclists. Firstly, as the name suggests, they keep your hands warm whilst cycling in the winter and cooler months. Secondly they provide clearer visibility for those riding on busy streets.

The functional yet stylish gloves will  help indicate turn signals as they’re embedded with LED lights. The lights are positioned to form an arrow on each upper palm. A turn signal will be shown when the hand is stretched out and a fist is formed. A strong signal will be displayed to following cars, giving a much better indication of where the cyclist is headed.

They are also touch phone friendly with conductive fingertips and operate on one 3V coin cell battery. They are available in limited quantities but with the design being highly praised and recognised we hope creator Irene Posch will be able to boost production. Kickstarter perhaps?
