Infographic: Is Social Media Making us Socially-Awkward?
Online education portal schools.com have created an inforgraphic that illustrates how our need to be constantly connected and updated online is dramatically altering our real-life relationships.
Facebook users are the biggest offenders. Research shows that users worldwide spend a total of 10.5 billion minutes on the website EACH DAY which translates to 19,963 years.
Schools.com also looked at which countries citizens spend the most time on Facebook each day. Sadly Australia was ranked third, spending an average of 26 minutes and 27 seconds updating, uploading, scrolling and chatting a day.
