this is interesting, but I am interested in what the do, rather than what they say. If financial gain is not the right reason to join an organisation, would they leave for less money for the &#039;right&#039; job? I am sure 90% of Gen Y are not working in jobs that have a positive impact on the planet ... the number might be 15% ... i.e. they are saying one thing but doing another. If you are a boomer who has lost money in the GFC or a gen Y trying to buy a house, I think money will trump most of these nice to haves...
I think you have hit the biggest issue on the head though ... boomers still want to be in charge and Gen Y want a senior job now, squeezing Gen X who have the experience and the energy to actuallly do it.]]></description>
