Hi Courtney,
Hi Courtney

Thanks for the feedback, we actually had 2 women on the panel, Ian Lyons had to fly to London so we brought in Jodie Fox from Shoes of Prey.

When we put together the panel, we never do so with the consideration of male and female, we just find inspiring minds that will hopefully challenge each others thinking. this is not done from a male or female perspective. We invited 10 speakers to speak at IF 6, of which 6 were women.. For each event, we have a final list of 10 and we select from 5-7 for the panel. On our short list this time, we had 6 women and 4 men, the 4 men all confirmed, only Rachel of the women confirmed/ or was available on that date.

So whilst I appreciate your feedback, we certainly do not consider the importance of women or men in business, we do however consider the importance of change, leadership and innovation, regardless of where it comes from. Regardless of gender, race or age... it is about the people who make the change and only that. We are currently writing a book on leadership, you will be pleased to note, that more than 65% of the book is made up of women in business (not by design, by default).

In saying that, if you have some people (women) in mind that we should have speaking to IF guests, we would love to hear from you/ them.

If IF speakers truly were "the people behind the businesses that help shape our cities, communities and nation...." there would be more women on your "inspirational" panels. Your ratio of 5 men to 1 woman does not inspire me at all.

Hi hope you are well. The talk is not related to Scott's book or the 99%. It just based around the idea that there are people doing amazing things every day, breathing life into ideas and we thought we should hear from them and discuss how they do it.

Hope you can make it.
