TED’s Top 10 ‘Ads Worth Spreading’

Idea Spreading nonprofit conference TED have released their ten top advertising clips which offer viewers ‘pleasurable, intelligent engagement’.

In an attempt to battle the increasingly aggressive and somewhat invasive attention-grabbing efforts of online advertisers, TED launched the ‘Ads Worth Spreading‘ in late December 2010.  The initiative sought advertising which captured the imagination of audiences in a similar manner to the actual talks conducted by TED; ‘they should make you think, make you respond, make you want to share.’

Twenty-four judges have curated their ten top picks so far, including an incredible ‘Selinah’ entry from Ogilvy Johannesburg for The Topsy Foundation.
